The blacklist feature in Semantria allows you to suppress output that you find irrelevant for your application. For instance, in financial news, phrases like "last quarter" and "first quarter" will commonly be extracted as themes. If you are uninterested in seeing these themes, you can add them to the blacklist.
The blacklist words are matched against themes, facets, queries and entities. This means that if you put "quarter" into your blacklist, you will no longer see themes of "last quarter" or "this quarter" and you will also not see an entity of "No Quarter."
